In the Christmas season of 2025, I leaned into the spirit of the traditional twelve days of Christmas.  I found myself resting, growing, and contemplating what Christmas really meant through that time, far more than I ever had by just putting the emphasis on Christmas Day.

When Epiphany came, the break was over, school was back in session, and I found myself back in the studio, but not quite ready for the normal work that awaited me.  All at once, I got an image in my mind of the three kings following the star.

It reminded me that seeking Christ is not confined to just Christmas.  It is a daily pursuit, one we are lucky enough to engage in of our own will.
