the moors || jane eyre art print

The novel "Jane Eyre" spans a lifetime and wanders from grand manors to forlorn schools.  But what always reminds of the tale of the brave little governess is the haunting vista of the moors.  Open, wild, and expansive, they offered Jane both healing and haven.

This painting was an absolute joy for me.  It took quite awhile to create as I had to work in small increments, but I love the feeling of it.  I can almost feel the sweeping wind on my skin as I look at it now.
