farm day cosmos || mini framed original gouache painting

Last fall, Lil's school took a field trip a the cutest little farm. The city kids had the time of their lives petting all the animals and taking a hayride.  What do I remember?  The one, tiny, glorious patch of late-season cosmos blooming proudly amid the chaos of many school groups running amuck.  This study is based on a quick photo I snapped of the tiny patch between chasing tiny humans on a really fun day.
