2024 will always be remembered to me as the year I painted books. As I was putting together the 2025 landscape calendar, it dawned on me that I very nearly had enough illustrations for a bookish calendar as well.

Armed with sheer motivation and a love for classic literature, I was able to squeeze a few more paintings out of my creative wheelhouse and lo and behold, the first ever bookish calendar was born!

The calendar features 11 paintings inspired by classic books and one of my favorite bookish images I've painted. Ranging from Jane Austen to J.R.R. Tolkien, it is an homage to the books that wedge their way into our hearts and become a part of who we are.
