beauty and the beast || classic fairy tale illustration

This painting of a beloved fairy tale is inspired heavily by my love of Robin McKinley's book, "Beauty".  It is one of my favorite retellings of Beauty and the Beast.  The magic of this tale always captivates me and brings me back time and again.
