There's just something about the story of the Nutcracker, isn't there?  It encapsulates the magic children bring to the Christmas season with their vibrant imaginations.  I love the idea of the Nutcracker coming to life and the journey he and Clara take.  The music fills my own Christmas memories with wonderful and delight.  It is just a joy and I wanted to be a part of it.
