the sage kitchen || original watercolor painting

The soft light through the window of this kitchen is what really endeared it to me.  The way it created pockets of light and shadow in a tiny corner of a heavily used space.  The way it tickled the edges of leaves and created so many values of green for one arrangement.  It was utterly bewitching and a delight to play with.
