I treated myself to these tulips as the winter turned cold and the sun started to hide longer. I snapped a few photos to work from before they lost their vigor and before I found my focus.
What I learned:
- reference angles matter.
- don't add color too quickly.
-watch your lines.
- breathe!!
-enjoy the process and don't get caught up.
8x8-inch watercolor, colored pencil, graphite, and gouache on paper. Sealed to prevent fading and smudging.
